I had a pleasant stay in a Deluxe Double Room for 2 nights. The bed comfort was impressive, and I appreciated the thoughtful breakfast options. I found the stairs to the upper floor a bit steep and noticed some street noise during the night, which could be disruptive for light sleepers.

Exploring Den Helder 🚢
Such a lekker spot near the city! We had a blast wandering around the cool shipyards and checking out the Navy Museum – super interesting, ja no. the brekkie was top-notch, really loved those good cocktails nearby too!
Only bummer was the limited space for hanging clothes.

During your stay, request a room on a higher floor to reduce street noise and ensure a quieter experience overall.

Very accommodating! They asked when I wanted breakfast, which was nice. The room was lovely with a great view and air conditioning that worked fine. I had a wonderful stay and enjoyed my time in the area with great restaurants nearby.

Excellent breakfast quality stands out during stay.
The steep stairs to the upper floor were a hassle, especially when carrying luggage. I found it unacceptable that the cleaning lady didn't clean my room during my second night, and the owner's apology felt insincere. Street noise was noticeable, which led to a disrupted sleep despite it being a temporary stay.

The hotel features comfortable air-conditioned rooms, equipped with a fridge and a coffee machine. We loved the large balcony overlooking the canal, and the breakfast with high-quality ingredients was a delight. The staff provided excellent support in organizing our trips around the area.
The stairs to the second floor were a bit cramped.

the room was so tiny that there was barely enough space to hang clothes, and the motion-activated shower light was just odd, almost like a prank. i arrived expecting a warm welcome gift for my troubles but received nothing! followed by steep stairs that practically needed a climbing permit. i almost wanted to leave a good review, but i just couldn’t.

great location with minor drawbacks
The location was ideal, as it was just 100 meters from the restaurants and leisure spots. I found the room notably comfortable, featuring a large balcony that offered a stunning view of the canal. The breakfast selection was impressive, showcasing high-quality Dutch ingredients.
While the air conditioning worked fine eventually, it took some time to figure out.

Super comfy stay with a view!
I had a really nice time here. They were super flexible with breakfast timing, which I appreciated. The room was lovely and had an awesome view. Just a heads-up, though, the closet space was kinda limited. The breakfast was made with top-notch ingredients, so that was a nice bonus!
